ClinicalPro is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer for a leading Biotechnology company located in the USA.

This individual will be responsible for the company’s commercial strategy and growth through marketing, sales, and customer service operations. CCO will work towards increasing revenue and market share. The individaul will ensure that all organisational activities are coordinated to achieve the company’s strategic commercial goals.

Must be eligible to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

  • Direct management of all commercial revenue planning activities, including budget, long-term plans, short-term forecasts, product demand plans.
  • Maintaining global systems and procedures to support revenue planning.
  • Coordinating with regional planning teams to guarantee rigour and uniformity in planning outputs.
  • Oversees all PowerBI-based standardised commercial reporting and dashboards.
  • To guarantee sufficient rigour in incentive compensation programmes and payouts, designs and oversees worldwide incentive compensation governance.
  • To guarantee accuracy in quarterly incentive payouts, maintains and oversees the incentive compensation management system (ICM).
  • Ensures that all incentive pay systems and controls are strong and compliant.
  • Work with Commercial’s regional vice presidents and the departments of finance, compliance, and human resources.
  • Oversees the selection of international markets for market entrance planning, including NPV calculations and in-depth business case examination.
  • Oversees all contracts and changes for partners in worldwide distribution.
  • Coordinating market entrance, strategic alternative initiatives, and new business partner analyses.
  • In charge of coordinating digital capabilities across Digital Engagement, Marketing automation, and Analytics systems.
  • Global governance, operations, and standardisation are under the control of the person responsible for content and digital asset management.
  • In charge of executing and successfully implementing future-state Omnichannel capabilities over a multi-year plan.
  • Providing data-driven, customer-centric commercial use cases.
  • To put the strategy into practice, partners with global brand and product strategy teams.
  • Using teams, tools, and procedures to execute and operationalise.
  • Assist Commercial’s digital transformation projects, partner with information technology providers to supply systems and technology.
  • Make sure there are scalable and effective procedures in place across all brands and markets.
  • Enable the delivery of high-quality digital strategies and resultant data and insights. 

Skills and Requirements

  • Successful track record of 15 years in a company in the life sciences/biotech sector.
  • 5+ years of experience in senior management/executive roles with a track record of inspiring and motivating big teams.
  • Significant breadth of commercial expertise.
  • Can handle operational and strategic responsibilities across different functional areas.
  • Being able to successfully navigate and work in a highly matrixed, time-constrained environment.
  • Executive with a strong sense of organisation, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Identify important issues and set priorities.
  • Strategic, “out of the box” thinker who generates original responses to challenging issues.
  • Strong sense of teamwork; emphasises group outcomes over individual accomplishments.
  • Energetic and passionate, driven to enhance quality at every level, with the business acumen to handle challenging situations.
  • Need to travel.
