Senior Scientist, Cell & Gene Therapy

ClinicalPro is seeking a Senior Scientist for a leading Biotechnology organisation located in the USA.

This individual will be responsible for supervising research initiatives. The Senior Scientist will be working with associates in departmental and cross-functional teams.

Must be eligible to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Utilising cutting-edge technology, provide precise, accurate, and reliable functional, biochemical, and molecular analytical methodologies.
• Lead the QC group and partners in the certification of analytical methods and technology transfer.
• Make thorough observations, analyse data, interpret findings, and use suitable technical judgement.
• Planning, carrying out, and interpreting experimental results independently.
• Prepare technical reports, procedures, and presentation-ready technical summaries.
• At meetings of the group/project team and at scientific conferences, present and talk about the outcomes of the experiment.
• Interact with the research and process development divisions.
• Able to work in a team environment.

Skills and Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering.
• Two years of experience working in a lab connected to that industry,
• Master’s degree with one year of experience working in a lab related to the industry.
• Familiar with a variety of lab operation operations.
• Direct practical experience operating analytical tools.
• Able to drive pertinent functions to quickly finish the documentation requirements.
• To guarantee that everything runs smoothly, be able to monitor different lab operation carefully in an orderly and timely manner.
• Be able to work with scientists, quality, service teams, and other internal and external service providers.
• Make sure lab operating operations are carried out and finished correctly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to operate in a cross-functional, customer-focused setting.
• Ability to organise and carry out lab operating duties with little or no direction.
