ClinicalPro is seeking a Director of Learning and Development for a leading Life Sciences company located in the USA.
This individual will be responsible for assisting employees in expanding their knowledge and skills while facilitating corporate effectiveness. The Director of Learning & Development will collaborate closely with the HR Director.
Must be eligible to work in the US.
Responsibilities
- The Director of Learning and Development will plan and direct clinical staff training, remedial training, and onboarding initiatives in collaboration with the Training Manager.
- Ensures the completion of training by clinical personnel. This training may include New Hire & Annual Training, CITI Training, SOP Training, and LMS Training.
- With cooperation from the head of clinical operations and other network executives, designs and prepares the training and onboarding strategy for clinical workers and contractors within the company.
- Develops training modules and provide one-on-one mentoring to put training concepts into practice.
- Delivers the Head of Clinical Operations and QMS Leadership frequent briefings and immediately raises any problems or worries regarding the need for staff training.
- Writes SOPs and internal processes that are particular to a department and/or contributes ideas to them.
- Develops, and/or enlists the help of KOLs in functional areas to provide, pertinent training for clinical professionals within the company.
- In charge of managing and implementing the LMS’s content.
- Manage evaluation of quality concerns.
- Identify process changes.
Skills and Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in programme assessment and learning.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a life science or clinical research field.
- A background in creating and executing assessment frameworks for social impact programmes.
- Knowledge of survey design, data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
- Understanding of knowledge management and distribution techniques, including report authoring, data visualisation, and web-based platforms for information sharing.
- Exceptional project management abilities, including the capacity to direct and coordinate challenging evaluation projects in a changing environment.
- Outstanding facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the capacity to develop and sustain connections with internal and external stakeholders.
